Biography
Dr. Benjamin is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering Medicine at Texas A&M University, where he leads the Soft Matter Mechanics Laboratory. His research focuses on the experimental and theoretical mechanics of soft materials, including hydrogels, polymeric systems, and biological tissues such as the aorta. With his background in engineering mechanics, he studies how complex fluids and soft solids respond to deformation, with the goal of advancing the understanding and design of biomedical and functional materials.
